Clifton Park Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Baltimore's first public golf course, Clifton Park was built in 1915 on the grounds of Johns Hopkins’ summer mansion. The course was designed by Gus Hook. Today, the course continues its tradition of providing golfers with unique views of Baltimore's urban landscape as well as some of the best putting surfaces in greater Baltimore.
Clifton Park can be troublesome if you cannot avoid the out of bounds, which run through the layout. Plan for uneven lies and paying the price for missing greens with your approach shot. Of course, you can always take solace in the panoramic views of new and old Baltimore.
The back tees play to 6,018 yards. The slope rating is 68 and the course rating is 120. The middle tees are set at 5,764 yards and the forward tees play to 5,490 yards.

This is a wonderful track located in Baltimore City. As is typical of all the Baltimore City Municipal Courses, it is well manatained and a bargain price-wise. Also, with the massive amount of rain the area has experienced this spring, probably the best draining public course in the area. I've played probably close to 100 rounds here and still drive from my home on the eastern shore to play Clifton Park regularly. Not too long but with a number of reasonably challenging holes. One of the best bangs for your golf buck around. Kudos!

LOVE clifon park. i'm a senior & it's length is not a killer for me. the greens are some of the best in the area (maybe the best). the staff is friendly, they will re-spike your shoes for no fee other than the cost of the spikes, same with grips. it's a little jewel set in the middle of a pretty rough neighborhood, but i've never felt threatened by its location.

Hard working staff keeps this public course in better condition than many private clubs in the area. Not too long, perfect for seniors, the course has about 6 very challenging holes but all have some character.
